The blocks are growing

I put all the blocks on the floor, leaving some space in between for the lattice. This is going to be a big quilt and I might have to buy a bigger bed soon :) Maybe I should rearrange the blocks a bit more to even out the colours.

This is how a pile of 72 DJ Boo blocks look like. Not sure I have enough black fabric.

I added borders around each block making them grow from 5 inch unfinished to 8 inch unfinished. I will add more when the blocks are being sewn together.

  2. Your dark borders really make the colors inside the blocks stand out. Can't wait to see what you choose for the sashing, etc!

Fantastisk så fint du har fått til en så vanskelig blanding DJ-blokker! Teppet ser nydelig ut. Hilsen Otlo

  5. Great colours for the DJ blocks.

I am also making a DJ quilt -- I think for me one DJ quilt will be my lifetime maximum :)) It always amazes me when people make more than one.

Welcome to the Q4P blogring. It is always so much fun to meet new quilters.
